IP investment and monetization firm SIM IP has merged with AI patent analytics company Garden Intel, valuing Garden Intel at $150 million. The two companies will build a “self-reinforcing data flywheel” that combines patent data with commercial data to improve patent valuation and pricing while streamlining licensing execution. The deal is seen as a pioneering step toward financializing intellectual property as an asset class and is highly regarded for its innovation in launching a data-driven IP monetization platform.
