Huawei and HP announced on August 26, 2026 that they had signed a multiyear global patent cross-licensing agreement. The agreement includes a license to HP for certain Huawei Wi-Fi patents. HP separately stated that the arrangement resolves a patent dispute with Huawei and does not constitute a strategic partnership or supply agreement.

HuaweiとHPは2026年8月26日、複数年のグローバル特許クロスライセンス契約を締結したと発表した。契約には、Huaweiが保有する一部のWi-Fi特許についてHPへのライセンスが含まれる。HPは同日、この契約について、Huaweiとの特許紛争を解決するためのライセンスであり、戦略的提携や供給契約ではないと説明した。
