IP Bridge’s Masato Okuguchi Discusses SEP Monetization

In an interview with IP Fray, Masato Okuguchi, Head of Licensing at IP Bridge, discussed Brazil’s emergence as an important litigation venue for standard-essential patents (SEPs), as well as his experience with automotive licensing agreements through Avanci Vehicle. He also noted that during his time at Panasonic, he successfully concluded major licensing agreements with smartphone manufacturers, and explained how he expanded revenue sources through joint licensing arrangements that bundled multiple technologies together.
